Message from the ProSPER.Net Secretariat: |
Dear colleagues and friends, We are delighted to announce the host for ProSPER.Net’ Young Researchers’ School (YRS) 2017. The School will be hosted by ProSPER.Net member Vietnam National University HCMC under the theme “Water resource and natural disasters management under climate change context”, on 6-17 March, 2017, in Hoh Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The main goal of the YRS is to provide graduate students with an opportunity to better understand the spectrum of challenges that underpin sustainable development. We will again bring young scientists together for an intensive two-week workshop, to foster the growth of a network of sustainability scholars and professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. More information will soon be available on ProSPER.Net. All ProSPER.Net Members should have received an email with a template for a mobility plan and contact information forms. This is a gentle reminder that the ProSPER.Net Secretariat mobility plan and the communications sheet need to be submitted to the Secretariat prospernet@unu.edu by 31st October, 2016. The template for the mobility plan allows members to suggest ideas for inter-institution initiatives. The goal of this exercise is to develop a framework for mobility among ProSPER.Net-member institutions into the future, including student/faculty exchanges, co-teaching and co-supervision of student research, and visiting professor/researcher arrangements, that would establish and enhance greater academic synergies among ProSPER.Net members. All member institutes are also requested to submit the contact information sheet with a list of current contacts in charge of ProSPER.Net related communications. With this information, we will be able to update our database and address important information to the appropriate recipients. The communications form will allow us at ProSPER.Net to communicate better with your institute, as well as promote your activities that may be of interest to the rest of the network. Spread the word! Your colleagues and friends can now sign up for the ProSPER.Net bulletin via ProSPER.Net.
Sincerely, ProSPER.Net |
