University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka

University of Peradeniya is the oldest university in Sri Lanka. The first institution of its kind in the country which was founded in 1941. The University holds a very special place. Today, the University consists of eight academic faculties. About 2000 undergraduates enter the University annually, to make up an undergraduate student population of 10000, while the total number of postgraduate students registered is over 2000. There are several postgraduate Programs in the University.
